Love conquers all

A response to one of Janice poems which she suggested I post.

I long for a love to call my own.
A friend a lover too.
All I have to give is
my heart so true

For he who owns
my heart and soul.
That burns so deep
inside where all
my love resides.

Memories and dreams
are all I have so for now
I just exist.

I long to know what it
would be like to feel
so complete again

Maybe someday
my memories
my dreams
will again come true

Janice As you requested I did post this but I did rearrange a few lines. Your response was it meant to say interesting title or inserting title? I know it is early in the morning maybe it is just me? Thank you for your comments and support. I just love this site so many wonderful poets to inspire me. But it has got me in a mess. I try to just comment but as I read I get inspired and responses turn into new poems Ha! Electricblue

Jess Well my friend I just put my heart on paper. As that is the only place it can be for now. I have such a longing yearning to be where I want to be. But my fate is unknown. So all I can do is give my heart thats true to the one who has stolen my soul too Dreams and memories are all I have for now so I just exist I am glad you could relate to my pain my love Electric blue

THIS MY LOVE

I long for a love to call my own. BUT THAT LOVE YOU NEED IS IN YOUR HEART AS A HOME A friend a lover too. All I have to give is my heart so true THAT GOOD SO LETS ADD All I have to give is A LOVE SO TRUE AND WHEN WILL YOU SEE WITH THE EYES THAT MY LOVE RULES For he who owns my heart and soul. That burns so deep inside where all my love resides. For he who owns my heart and soul WHAT MORE COULD I SAY FOR OUR LIFE TO GROW That burns so deep inside where all my love resides. BUT MY LOVE FOR YOU NEVER WILL I HIDE Memories and dreams are all I have so for now I WILL ALWAYS LOOK FOR YOU BUT I DON'T HOW I just exist. I long to know what it would be like to feel YOURS HANDS YOUR TOUCH PLEASE MAKE THIS REAL so complete again Maybe someday my memories my dreams WILL BE A TRUST THAT MY TRUE LOVE HAS SEEM will again come true
