Lonely Sunsets
There are a few times
when shared,
heavenly times.
Too many times
I see, alone.
Red setting sun,
burns in the far distance.
I reach out,
to touch the sky.
This amazing view,
always changing,
magnificent.
This living colour,
moving images
created.
Colours merge,
wrapped around me.
I feel so warm.
As in lover's arms,
so sweet an embrace.
Colours fall
from the paint brush,
in my hand.
Smooth strokes
gently applied.
Gold and amber dust,
sparkle over
my canvas.
Sprinkling star dust,
make wishes
and dreams,
come true.
Why? do I feel
so, blue.
when shared,
heavenly times.
Too many times
I see, alone.
Red setting sun,
burns in the far distance.
I reach out,
to touch the sky.
This amazing view,
always changing,
magnificent.
This living colour,
moving images
created.
Colours merge,
wrapped around me.
I feel so warm.
As in lover's arms,
so sweet an embrace.
Colours fall
from the paint brush,
in my hand.
Smooth strokes
gently applied.
Gold and amber dust,
sparkle over
my canvas.
Sprinkling star dust,
make wishes
and dreams,
come true.
Why? do I feel
so, blue.
