Storm
Storm clouds gather
Leaves fall.
Blowing like a blizzard
It becomes so thick.
You have to fight your way through,
the wind in turmoil.
Not knowing which way to blow.
Clouds disappear.
The sun breaks through,
all is still.
Sunbeams stream down from above,
making the leaves translucent.
The smell of the rain,
lingers in the air.
Birds sing a beautiful melody,
this echo's down the mountainside
The smaller animals heard,
but not seen.
They scurry through the undergrowth,
playfully gathering food.
The leaves of May,
In the noonday sun.
Dry - sparkling colours,
all around do I see.
Leaves fall.
Blowing like a blizzard
It becomes so thick.
You have to fight your way through,
the wind in turmoil.
Not knowing which way to blow.
Clouds disappear.
The sun breaks through,
all is still.
Sunbeams stream down from above,
making the leaves translucent.
The smell of the rain,
lingers in the air.
Birds sing a beautiful melody,
this echo's down the mountainside
The smaller animals heard,
but not seen.
They scurry through the undergrowth,
playfully gathering food.
The leaves of May,
In the noonday sun.
Dry - sparkling colours,
all around do I see.
