aura
hanging behind the broken grey farmhouse
flaming and iridescent
my childhood eyes sink in
trace outlines against the far gaunt
structure falling in across wild
grown feilds of time
and maples stretching upworld
through stone walls race along the
car with thier velvet canopies
of flame
scarlets gold and ambers
flashing past through safety
tinted tempered glass
dust plumes and
maple lanes
night cool
and stars like tossed
crushed silver
and i see
still
the power of the
rays behind
that ghost place
on the edge of
known night
dreams
flaming and
hungry
brilliant and
dark
