Garishly paved

Garishly paved

Who will dare to run
the red streets
our young
fall bleeding life

they have turned
corners where jack
waits sharp
eager a hunger
to be sated

the thin blue line’s
ticking off minutes
they don’t know

to many cowards jacking
anyone who wears

colours causing chaos
the commute just
rolls her eyes
travels in a
different direction

carrying us the fearful souls
who could be a cure
if only we’d stop
listening
to our own
anguish

Thank you Jane, it is the same story all over and we do turn our backs. Thank you again Love Roscoe..

Thank you Lonnie, with the wealth of money and talent we have, i just feel it's down to the fact that we don't care. We built churches to honour a god that i don't believe exists, but we won't build places of help or refuge for our people who i know exist. Regards Roscoe...

think that it was about homeless people. I thought that it was about gangs. "To many cowards jacking, anyone who wears colors causing chaos." I was thinking about the different colored bandanas the gangs wear. ~ Gee

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

Your correct it was about gangs and the total waste of the young being killed, it was broad daylight with shoppers everywhere when the last boy died. But i can see where Lonnie was coming from as well. The homeless die on the streets as well and Joe public walk on and don't seem to care. Thanks for commenting. Regards Roscoe...
