Why?

Why ask why? Some have sung

But, I have always wondered how things

Got done

Why is the sky so blue?

Why is the Moon so bright?

How come the stars only shine at night?

What is this  Love Thing  all about?

and

Why does it leave us, all so uptight?

Why do people want to stop living?

When it stops

Why can't they be happy?

For all that they, do got

I want to know; where does, that guy; get off

Who said;

"Ti's, better to have loved and lost

Than to have never love at all"

This Guy; has flipped, his lid!

About This Poem

About the Author

Region, Country: U.S. A. Indiana, Valparaiso, USA

Favorite Poets: Robert Frost, Walt Whitman, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Carl Sandburg these I have read some And so Many More. I have no Favorite or any that I dislike. Whom I consider to be poets; of course there are many Dark and hateful souls, who would cry out and to I will lend an ear, but some. They just leave a awful taste in my heart that I can not bear to read twice. Let alone as many times I would do normally; as I must.

Shakespearre

Guess that is how he felt at the time "Why does it leave us all uptight" this sentence just throws everything off perhaps it is just the word uptight suggestion find another way of say this "when it stops" is just sitting there unsupported when what stops life?or did you just not complete a thought there I think I know what it is you are trying to say and it is almost there , give the poem a little more thought and you'll find the words you need Chrys

Donnie...

Poetry.com is what is called a vanity press publisher.. they tell you what you want to hear and then try to sell you the books they have put your poems in... a lot of us here have gone through that.. some legit publishers say what you submit to them can't have been published anywhere yet...so in that light you can't use the poems you've already submitted to poetry.com... Ronda and Chrys know more about the publishing industry... when you get time you could ask one of them more questions... sorry.. Richard
