Humble Roses

listen to the roses
they gently speak
a language
beyond words

nourished by the soil
groomed by the season
bearing colors of life
gifted with the art of saying
sorry or thank you
with a fragrance
that touches the soul

a fragrance
they give back
even when they wither
till their last breath

Let's Get Out of This Horrible Place

Let's get out of this horrible place
while there's still time.

I can confess my sins,
I just need a moment
and some reflection.

I don't want
to be here without you.
I don't want
to have these disjointed thoughts anymore.

And I don't even mind what you call me,
and I don't even mind the hurt.
It's nothing compared to my loneliness.

I can be proud.
(I've way too much pride)
And I can have my bouts of arrogance.
I've fallen a bit because of that.

Until We Disappear

In the gummy woods
There lived some gummy bears
And all the kids who visited
They would stop and stare
Cause there was only gelatin
Instead of leaves and hair
And if you took a lick
They wouldn’t even care
In fact, some of the bears and trees
Were so willing to share
That after many visitors
They were hardly even there
If you think these circumstances
Aren’t really fair
That if you wanted something sweet
You wouldn’t even dare
Remember that love and its gift
Are a sacred pair

Message for JOE from poet lovedly his old fan

Lovedly
misses him* dearly
(*then esker)
and
as for afterlife there is no such thing
really
none has gone
beyond the grave yard
6 feet deep
including the PHARAOHS
whose body decayed

So live in peace
as you may
there is no heaven anyway
but if you have a belief
do stay
but on mommy Earth
enjoy your present days

Emily-moment

There is a paper boat
on my desk.
It is reflected in the glass
like in a calm lake.
It carries a poem on board.
The poem number
nine hundred forty six
I can still see
some of the words
on the top deck
“It is an honorable Thought”.
The rest is hidden in the folds.

Mouthwash [Sunku]

sun sets
erasing
lurking silhouettes

shows up
announcing
new beginning

time to
rinse foul smells
of yesterday

OH HOW I WANT TO BECOME A FAMOUS POET(satire)

Poet famous I desire
ducks and fish fly through the air
where we all breath effluents
dink donkey platypus

but except the other or
space is lacking room
please don't eat my ear
catharsis trembles cowardice
catch the hook and bait the fish

not nor neither
wife beater lover even spinach
crap becomes treasure
Treasure becomes blood

Ordered randomness
in rows unlined
leading me forward
to the beginning
popcorn, hard tar and wild onions

Moments - an album in mind

moments come and go
don't run after them
when they come again
do not let them go

when there's sun and rain
come watch out in the sky
for a rainbow to appear
then catch it in your eyes

when someone is in grief
hold their hand a while
it's more than words said
"I do share your feelings"

for some moments wait
while many others pass
life's still lived in them
until the breaths last

OH DAWN WHY WAS I SO BORN (Jun Contest)

My Dawn
you were my first love born
I took you for a dance
once I had my maiden chance
we danced remember Dawn
though the night
your parents were watching from the balcony
I wanted to kiss you
hug you
closely I nearly lipped your nose too
Remember you said
they had eagle eyes
you scared me out of my wits
then you did smile
But I lied
said yes
I know they will only wrath bestow.
and
I withdrew from dancing
being dangerously
too near and slow

Mind Creates Effect

I stood on my third floor balcony, looking up to the heavens
and I will be truthful, I became afraid. That huge, reddish-gold
ball loomed before my eyes; it seemed an apparition jumped
dimension, the moon, so huge, coming low to touch the earth.

I knew the moon was not falling, gravitational waves were not
shaking up the globe; but instinct found no other explanation
to a moon filling up the sky. I stayed a while, staring out, easy in
my logic, but turbulent in my soul. The eye for God now wider.
