AN "X" WHEN YOU TEXT

This is a warning to all ladies who sign off phone texts and emails with X's (i.e. kisses).

An “X” when you text.
Two lines that cross
But are not cross.
Two lines that meet at a point
in two dimensions
by the transmission of a wave
in three.

Can this “X” be just for me
or the memo in my memory?

An “X” when you text,
a “V” on "V”,
two “Vs” that meet
in touching intimacy.

Put side by side
They touch and touch
but that does not add up to much,
just two “Vs” in an orderly queue
making me……………..a lonely “W”

But put “V” on “V” to make an “X”
and sometimes the result is …….. sex.

So “X” is more than just a letter,
it’s an invite to go out and get her.
Never use it if you do not mean it
But if you do
then I have a million ……

.....just for you.

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

I agree with Gee nice pick-up line, I'll be more careful with my X's and O's from here on out.

Really interesting poem, I have to say you're a breath of fresh air. Nice to have with you here sharing your poetry.

I went over it and I can't see anything I would change well done!!

kind regards Seren (with no x's or o's lol haha)

In an office situation you never know what's going on under the surface. It's the number of "X"'s at the end of the memo or email that either starts the liaison or gives the game away! Unsuspecting office workers sometimes send the wrong signals.

I never used them in my work situations, I was a secretary for a criminal lawyer, definitely don't want to give the clients the wrong idea (insert stunned face) giggles!

Kindest Regards Seren
