unnamed

The stars no longer shine.
The moon has lost it's glow
No where can I find

The light that I have known
Ebb and flow, ebb and flow
Days to night, roses to thorns

Never changes, ever changing
Awaiting first shards of shadows
Dark comes the night

How many dreams
before again twilight

first poem in awhile.

He who conquers self , has won a great battle

A piece from what I read is of a loss of someone, though it could have been self..
Good to have you back have missed your works, I look at your profile pic on here and it just showed me an elderly gent with white hair and a shortish beard it is probably the pattern on your tee shirt but it took a while to see you standing there and I thought who is that in the pic.
Still never mind things just happen around us here what with things being lost for a while then turning up again and many things I say anything is possible..
Should I call for the men in white or just rest more lol.
Take care out there, Yours Ian.T

PS:- I have just read you poem from last year, I hope that you feel his spirit there with you each day, don't spend so much time away, to talk is to remember and also to be.xx

this is is just plain creepy. the man you describe could well be my deceased husband. the pattern on my t shirt was floral. are you saying his picture was super imposed over mine? actually he was younger than he looked sounds like a case for your wife.

Not creepy, there are several ways, they show themselves to just say they are OK and still there with you, I think that it needed someone else to just say what they saw for you to really let you confirm what you already know.
Anne has just come in and said to me that he was a deep man in his ways and thinking but a very nice man to know.
We have both retired now, but Anne was there among the best there is for medium ship, there are a lot of Psychics out there that give you back what you give them, we know the difference as Anne always links up with Spirit, I was so amazed at what they would tell her, after Anne would not know what she had said or been told, I have many hours of stories from them.
What I picked up was something from him just to let you know that he was fine and was there with you, this doesn't mean that you have to stay suspended in that zone.
Must stop it is a big universe, will tell you about the children one day.
Take care and just live young lady,
Yours as always Ian.T

Good to see you back. I read this 3 times before I realized that the 2nd line of all stanzas except the last one rhymed. And unnoticed rhyme is the best kind in my opinion. I enjoyed this poem but the last line, though very good, for some reason seems to not convey what I think you want to say...............stan

that very last stanza came to me out of the blue one day, and I liked it. I have dropped it into a couple of other poems i have done, just not sure where it needs to be. I thought I had found a home for it. Maybe not thanks, Linda
