Reverend Director III...
Now memories came crowding in
His brother beaten with a belt
Killer; young and helpless
He remembered how he felt
He heard the cries of agony
The whimpers of disgust
Perverted laughs of pleasure
The pain of Uncle's lust
There was nothing he could do
His Uncle big and strong
Morning came and his brother dead
No one there to right the wrong
So long ago, he made a promise
When uncle Michael disappeared
Scum like him would be the victims
Killer's vengence would be feared
A vow for the weak and helpless
He will save them when he can
The rapists of this world will learn
Now that he is a man...

A return to the exposition
An excellent example of how the pieces overlap. This brings me deeper in who (and what) Killer is. I have always loved our hero becoming a villain becoming a hero. I have a character of this sort in the big poem (Gundhag, the witch). wesley

hi Gee
It's not easy to write a poem which is part of a series yet also stands alone well. I don't see where I'd change anything and not just from fear of Killer lol....stan
