Jog In Fog

you are not
on Jupiter
or in an airplane

there is ground
beneath your feet

but everything else
is gone

except the clouds
and your memory

of how far until
the next
bend in the road

you could be body

but your mind
gropes, too

or relaxes

in the idea
that you can be lost
in the world

and still be found

captures both the physical and the metaphysical of the event. Great opening and end. Nothing else to say...

I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing
than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance
