We each were born
To take our rightful place
Coexisting on this earth
And we were tasked
Not to define our existence
But to prove our worth

Our purpose then
Was gifted to us
But left as undefined
So now, we must choose
What is best, not just for us
But also, for mankind

It does draw the reader in with nice flow. Its very approachable.
After a few reads, a few things hit me. Is not proving our worth a definition? How else could we define our existence if not by proving our worth. Might anyone define their existence as being worthless?
Our undefined purpose was gifted to what or whom?
The poem ends nicely telling us we should make the right choice and do what is both right for us and the rest of humanity.
Using poetry as a platform for words of wisdom and philosophic truths seems to be the current style of your work. This is a style by many masters, such as Kahlil Gibran. The only suggestion I might make is to add the use of symbols/images/metaphors to build the poem outside the philosophy to a poem of imagination which may say the same thing...but with the magic of words, not thoughts.

I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing
than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance
