My Prayer for Ann

patiently I have sewn
smaller and smaller circles
chanting a prayer,

to protect you
on your journey,
to carry you
through the tough times,
its the sound of nature
I send to soothe your pain,
and to bind you
in our love.

I cast this net,
hoping to bring you
back to us

and as my last stitch
threads through,
and wings are attached
to my heart,
I spirit it away
to rest with you
until you return,

smiling in our eyes

I know how much she means to me but there are many who have known her longer ... in the end shes extended her heart and hands and mind to embrace us all ... Ann of Norway Mere stars cannot fill this page enough to thank you dearest sweet kind Jayne, apart from that, it is a gem of a poem, with such lovely allusions to sewing threads of friendship and I am deeply moved and strengthened by it. What words to say of thanks, they are probably best said in the silence of the sky, with the breath that seems to card the clouds into those threads of togetherness, we all share the sky, be it up there, down under or all round, and its fathomless depths have that deep felt sense of wonder, that love has as its essence. Thank you again Jayne my lovely Jayne. A good hug to you all. It is beyond rating for me! hobo, I like your quote and thank you love Ann.
