FEARLESS

Fingertip touch feeling contours
of face and recognition the
consequence of passing years
diminished fears dried up tears
forgotten.

Thoughts of act one take two a
more rounded impression of me
on you.

Laughter lines and tales entwined
and future now part told, impressions
on the young by the reflective old.

Have felt a sense of urgency an infrequent
occurrence, shedding distraction once
protracted across my own divide no longer
an author of events denied.

I feel that you are gaining more control of the flow of your poems , you have controlled this and it is excellent I particularly loved the lines consequence of passing years diminished fears dried up tears so complete a thought with liquid languidly I think there may be a typo on the following lines wasn't sure if it was and tales entwined. Laughter lines (an) tales entwined A depth to this I really liked Seabhac

hi so glad to get your comment seabhac i found this in my note pad added the last verse and here it is you were right about the typo i should be more careful but in truth i am a bit all over the place LOL that`s me , i love neopoet but out from here i don`t take poetry any futher i know i should i don`t know why i don`t guess i am to easy going no panic all in good time that`s me in a nut shell lol cheers and chat soon ,,,,zigs

hi i guess this is about how time catches up on us all weather we realise it or not and how the realisation of that can spark us into action when we come to realise we don`t have forever to realise our dreams now that is how i saw this after writing it i don`t often explan my words but there it is and thank you , i will read your mind tomorrow ,,,,,,zigs

You're growing old my friend!

Zigs, this one is a sad reminder that we are all getting old...however, you are lucky, as you grow old you grow as a writer...this is a well written and exquisite piece. The first stanza had me hooked.
