Taken Away

You take away needed stability
And you keep doing so willingly
You take away most necessary tranquility
And exceptionally indescribable is your lack of humility

You take away sincerity and turn it into madness
You take away clarity and turn it into sadness

You take away my pride
And no, you weren't the one left outside
You take away my one place I could hide
And you stood by watching when it died

You take away madness and turn it into sincerity
You take away sadness and turn it into clarity

You take away our trust
And it seems like we did rust
You take away driving gust
And you still refuse to see it is unjust

So you've taken away admiration and you have turned it into aberration
So you've taken away salvation and you have turned it into desperation

You take away what we could be
And yet you cannot even see
You take away what once was me
And you still think I would agree

So have you taken away aberration and have you turned it into admiration?
So have you taken away desperation and have you turned it into salvation?
