Poem* Castle Home*

As King I rule here aloneIn my chambered bed Once again in a palaceI can’t call my own Lost in this world ofThe living dead Bodies without soulsLives without gold Eyes that have grownCold and still Bones aching and brittleLife is such a riddle My temple nowMy own home I am be twigged you seeWiddled down from a mighty tree By haunting faces ofClowns and their frowns My princes they worry and fearThe princess her time is near Our Queen is under a spellThe Kingdom has bid us farewell Dark magic ragesHere in the middle ages Demons and DragonsCrash the barricades The Draw is put upThe Mote is a flame There is only one way inAnd no way out Of this here CastleWhen the drums of war Are sound A thought by Sinbad the Sailor Man
