Sunny girl
She could brighten up the dullest day
If she just decided to glance my way
Her sparkling eyes and her infectious smile
Steal my thoughts away for a while
And she would make things seem alright
If she ever chose to hold me tight
And how I want to tell her so
That I would never let her go (if she were mine)
Someone so beautiful, she shines so bright
For her I'd gladly steal the stars at night
Her aching beauty enveloped my mind
That is the one image I'd never leave behind
She could grasp my hand
Then kiss me gently as I planned
And I want to tell her so
It could happen again tomorrow
If she just decided to glance my way
Her sparkling eyes and her infectious smile
Steal my thoughts away for a while
And she would make things seem alright
If she ever chose to hold me tight
And how I want to tell her so
That I would never let her go (if she were mine)
Someone so beautiful, she shines so bright
For her I'd gladly steal the stars at night
Her aching beauty enveloped my mind
That is the one image I'd never leave behind
She could grasp my hand
Then kiss me gently as I planned
And I want to tell her so
It could happen again tomorrow
