Commencing in Me (the road to Devon was paved with good intentions)

Rolling along
passed pockets
of still yellow seas
Patchwork land
of multitudinous greens
Emerald blanket
stitched by hedge
Trees
standing
sentinel

these butterflies
in my tummy
are divinity's flutterings
universal utterings
goosebump evidence
of connection

those birds
are flying on my skybound dreams
floating on my intention
to embrace the silence
no, not silence, but
the calm perfection of sound

The change starts here
on this coastal road
by ocean view
near sea of sparkling glory blue
It starts now
it begins instantly
commencing in me
