Failures

I wrote a song about Toi et Moi
with the hopes of getting through
and tried to get Into Your Heart
but the Subdivisions prevented its passage

The Angry Young Man
tried it all
searching for the ultimate happiness
all he wants now is Une Cachette Pour La Lune
and another for himself

Rickover's Dream
was to Follow Through
and be the best that he could be
but he walked away defeated
and now just stumbles After The Dark

Down On Main Street
to the left, four blocks from Baker Street
is all boarded up
the job market has crashed
and even the winos are scared
and this ghost town
has turned into La Villa Strangiato....
