Take me home

It's too cold and dark outside
No place to call my own
I sit here, waiting for you
to come and take me home.

I remember your words
I feel your tender kiss
When you held my hand
you made my heartbeat skip

As I wander in time
to have your hand in mine
I realise how much
I need to be there by your side

I sit here, waiting for you
to come and take me home.

Ian

Hello Ian, I see the point of the suggestions. It indeed sounds and reads better with some of them incorporated. Thanks a ton. Looking forward to more encouragement and constructive criticism. Miles to go before I sleep.. Regards Samaira
