Where Did You Go?

Forgive me so
if my words have offended
Were poorly laid out
and turn up-ended.

If my titles were bland
and didn't reel in
or if my topics
were bordering sin
my apologies rain down yet again

So with that said
I'll keep this short and sweet
and I will walk away
feeling beat.....

don’t we all feel this way

don't we all feel this way from time to time... i wish i didn't crave the attention of others... wish it were enough for me to see the beauty and feeling in my words or art and not need to know if others see what i see... but alas i am human and i need the pat here and there... and i am not afraid to admit that i need it... so i could relate to this very well constructed work... christy

One of the pitfalls

of this site becoming as busy as it is I think... it is across the board felt, not to worry though, I do believe it is here to stay for awhile... and so are you! I think we all feel a bit disregarded and ignored at times Jess... hang in because as long as writing is your chosen art form it will always be a part of it... I like your poem and know the feeling well. Richard

Thanks, guys

I would like to clarify that it's not a want for attention, it's just something that's out of place. I do agree with the karma, though. Unfortunately, I don't have very much time to sit and really read every poem - so I pick through them slowly, and there have been times where one of my friends writes a new piece, and it takes me weeks to comment on it! Thanks again, all... ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"All day and night music, a quiet, bright reedsong. If it fades, we fade." - Rumi

Jess

and I thought it was just me! Richard is so right , the site is growing so .I feel the old timers are fading fast, Most of the new folks aren't sure how to comment it feels like it is becoming less and less of a workshop. I know even my tried and true friends find it hard to get to my work anymore. Mom

Ah my friend

I apologize if I have neglected you. I have been somewhat busy and unfortunately have neglected a lot of my friends on here. BTW, I happen to like the poem too . *G* Respectfully, Rett: "Next time you think you're perfect, walk on water." "A Democracy can withstand anything but Democrats." Robert A. Heinlein
