It's Fat Cheek Day

A lone squirrel named Dixie
bumbles and bounces
and stuffs his fat little cheeks to the brim
while hurridley rooting around for more.
He is joined by three little chipmunks
all chasing each other.

Nonplussed, he just gazes at them
wondering where all their energy comes from
and why they waste it playing chipmunk games
When instead, they can be scouting out tasty
morsels, and have fat cheeks, too.

Jai's tail swishes softly
as she studies the scene outside
Gloating at the fact that she has human catering
Though she's no stranger to fat cheeks herself
which she proves by walking to her bowl
plopping down, and beginning to munch.

I'm feeling rather left out
as I'm the only one not being a piggy pork
so I go make myself a sandwich
'Cause why should I be the only one
who doesn't have stuffed cheeks?
