Random Thoughts Of A Lazy Dwarf

Once again, the stimulus package train rolls through.
And, just like last time, I don't qualify.
That's ok, though
it would have messed up my taxes anyway

My husband used fighting words the other day:
He said, of course that plane crashed
it had a woman driver
He currently has a fat lip (kidding)

If the cat were shorn
would there be a market for her furr?
She sure is soft and fuzzy enough!
And she's an indoor cat - she won't be too cold.

I'm thoroughly addicted to
the vanilla chai latte from Starbucks
Such spicy sweetness is truly
the perfect way to start a day.

And last, but not least:
I'd rather balance my checkbook
than balance a chemical formula
it's just too damn involved!

I agree, you ain't in your right head to mention a stimulous package from....Well, I enjoyed the rest of your thoughts my friend, other than that one, errr, slip of the cog it was great. Yeah, I'm having second thoughts about whether that was a good idea or not. I'm thinking it needs to be removed. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction!" -"God is good, but never dance in a small boat."

Life nothing more nothing less

Good morning. I read your work and say to myself this is well to any reader of a paper. As to say not a poem just a well placed grip to the start of a day. I find few that are as well to just say what is on the mind. So thanks I say to a good smile of a day just to start. Steven A. Kacer

The day to you, my cryptic friend. I oftentimes do speak about whatever is on my mind - though that's gotten me into trouble on more than one occasion. If I brightened someone's day even a little bit, then I did my job. Thank you. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction!" -"God is good, but never dance in a small boat."

I do remember reading and commenting on one of your poems. I know it sounds like a lame excuse, but I actually am having a lot of trouble staying up on people's work. Between school and everything else, I don't get as much free time as I'd like to. I promise that I slowly, but surely will get to more of your work. I'm glad to get some smiles out of you, and thanks for the buddy add. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- -"As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction!" -"God is good, but never dance in a small boat."

you better not be right in the head!

but as Yenti (Ian) might say, "you better be write in the head!" You know what I've actually wondered? If I shaved my cat, would his fleas stay on his skin, or would they tumble off into the fur, or carpet? I would love to be able to pick those little bastards off one by one and squeeze and grind their evil little bodies until they died. Ok, that was disturbing... let me find my clippers... Mark W. It has actually taken a couple minutes now to dry my eyes from laughing so hard! I'm glad to see that I'm not the only loony one on this site. Randomness is an ART! and

Randomness is an ART! and shows a quick mind.. this piece also made me smile, and your last poem post brought me to browse your other work. So....see, was a good one too. We all want to hear what others think, good or bad. Is how we learn to better our craft and sharpen our pencils. lol. I must say, your writing shows the very humanness? (is that a word? lol) of us all and i am totally enjoying it. and hmmmmmm...about shaving the cat... now theres an idea... lol Always Sincere, Tonya

It's not a bad idea, either. I had on a brand new pair of jeans for less than half an hour, and had to sticky roll them before going to class...
