In a World That is Square (A quad rhyme Quatrain)

In a World That is Square

In a world that is all square and right,

men would lead with honor and might,

women would follow, giving love's light,

as nature intended, so why do we fight?

In a world that is all square and just,

we would all do just what we must,

giving and taking, renewing our trust,

as justice prevails, so why do we lust?

In a world that is all square and fair,

trust is built with love, without despair,

holding hands, sharing life in the square,

as families would, so why do we swear?

In a world that is all square and full of love,

stars shine down with light from high above,

the moon moves tides soft as a turtle dove,

as romance flows, so why do we shove?

In a world that is not square, but chaotic,

we fight over spilt milk and act despotic,

lust and swear over things quite exotic,

shoving love aside for things more erotic.

In a world that is not square, but magic,

we come together, at times more tragic,

dance and sing, losing any sense of logic,

fighting chaos with the magic of analogic.

In A World

"Women would follow" don't care for this one, as a strong woman I did this once and it was a total disaster!! I enjoyed reading this it is nicely written!

Following is a choice ;)

But a woman needs a man worth following to mean much, huh! I think more women would follow their men, let them lead, if men were really honorable, wise and trustworthy. Today is different of course. Glad you enjoyed the read. :)))) Patrick/AO

Did I ever tell you....

who I really am, hehe? Oh well! All the greatest leaders were more spiritual than political, that's for sure, but even some of those were crazies. A man and woman in love become somewhat like gods and goddesses to each other, no closer will we will get than with real love it seems to me. Who cares who the leader is in that case as long as someone does lead. :) Patrick/AO
