Fly away

The memories of you, and me

hand in hand, the smiles on our faces

The days we shared as we starred into eachothers eyes

all the times we lied, and said until we die

our lives we would share

The dreams we made fade away

as though we were children we played

loves a foolish game

The tears we cried, they soon were all the time

and the memories of you, and me

I wish would just leave

oh how I pray, that they would fly away.

Been there and know

... how ya feel but the thing about memories is they never leave only fade if you allow them to. It seems like there is someting missing from this poem maybe depth , not really sure. love's as in love is Regards, Mark
