O

Huntsville Water Treatment Plant 1990

Pulling nails with the Estwing

drop it into the metal holder

the work belt with Tape

measure   The nail pouch

in that beautiful fresh

tanned leather

Love the feel of it when i

swing my Kodiaks up the

work ladder on the start of the

shift

Throw that tasty smoke

on the churned up clay

and laugh with the boys

its another good day

fresh concrete and bright

pipes

electricians

and half the walls up

"Crayon" will be here in

three hours with her hot

coffee and danishs

her stainless snack

truck

i work for my carpenters

and do my job well

boss likes me

i work weekends

Carolee loves me in

work boots

I love her in her outfits

from Deerhurst

where she works

with her girls

showing business

clients packages

sitting at her desk

my mans work

dirt on my hands

dust in my hair

grit in my clothes

A different job

a different place

Chloe would run

down the hall

"Daddy"

swing her up in my

arms

smiling

smile to smile
