Once Tame
-Setting the night afire
within a warm blaze of beauty.
Outward, a bold shine of innocence.
She scents the wind with desire.
-Childlike, penetant, just,
All must earn her love.
Tried with fire and brimstone,
All pass through Hell to earn her trust.
-Once shattered was her heart.
Once a tamed soul.
Broken was a wild spirit.
But tamed now only in part.
-Now searching, looking, praying,
Though she really looks for noone.
She rides the clouds to tame the wild wind
That sets the pillars of her life to swaying.
-Then the wind whispers her name,
Softly, though with power.
It kisses her neck softly,
fingers entwined in her hair.
And the warm wind whispers her name.
