Gardens Of Twilight ( Italian eight line Sonnet )
Upon dragonflies and diamonds bright
There comes this unyielding need
As the sunset does slowly bleed
Into the frail skin of night
When only hearts know the might
Of how they too can be freed
To be planted like a thirsting seed
Into the gardens of twilight.
