UNDER MY UMBRELLA

you can come.

you too can come.

your heart ,pour to me;

yourself, free from these worries.

You can be under my umbrella.

life's rain remembers

that i am ones sunshine,

and that i would surely see my bride.

so stay under my covers.

it won't rain on you,

i have got rain made coat shoes.

you can put me on.

Yes, modern women often resent the offer of protection

But they usually actually love it. The antagonism between you and me stemmed from your poem "Abortion", which I still find highly offensive, but I acknowledge I have been intolerant of cultural differences. You show here and in other works that you are a sensitive, caring and talented poet. cheers, Jess
