day begins for all to see
visionary, visionary
crazy though as it may seem
many lost in still born dreams

heavy ships all filled with glee
docked in shameless luxury
the albertross, our great white cloud
must we still wear the tattered shroud

pasture grounds of wheat and maze
fodder for their glory day’s
against the face of all our peers
a history of fear, blood, and tears

this arrow sent from hand of plead
did you ever, lap a dog, so bred of need
growling at your breast of greed

party faith of bigger dreams
threshing floor of ill run schemes
a pathway, for the bird of prey
must we close our eyes and say, go away

sleight of hand concealing truth
food of anger, hungry youth
and when they bring the curtain down
we’ll all wear the revolution, like a frown,
upside down clowns

so bite the hand last suppers host
help to scare this evil ghost
golden calves of this our land
must we turn man back, back to sand
