Tragedy
I must write although we are apart
Spare a thought for my broken heart
They were the words she boldly wrote
Tears in her eyes a lump in her throat
This was a letter to her ex boyfriend
Oh my god would her heart ever mend
Paper was wet with tears from her eyes
The only sound was her whimpering cries
Alas this was more than she could bear
Swallowed the pills more than her share
Found next morning all cold and dead
Note was in ashes it would never be read
