Alien Worlds

They’re somewhat primitive

They’ve only been one planet away.

They’re pretty savage too

They use their own kind as prey.

Should we make first contact

Or should we simply observe?

They’re technologically inferior

Perhaps our anonymity we should preserve.

We’ve monitored their broadcasts

They believe they are alone.

In this universe, so vast

They’re quite limited in what they know.

Whenever we’ve been seen

Their Government explains it away.

Telling their people we’re weather balloons

Hoping to lead them astray.

Do you think these simple beings

Will ever be ready for the truth.

That when we speak of Alien worlds

We’re speaking Earth, of you.

Well Thank you!

I'm glad you haven't tuned me out completely. Would hate to lose our banter. I enjoy your feedback/comments immensely even when you take issue with what I say. You probably won't want to read the one I'm going to post tonight...it's ANTI IMMIGRANT.. Take care, Brian (bellavistabear)
