MY DEPRESSION

Depression

What the hell is that?

That dark cloud

The creeping fear

The insecurity

The tears

Withdrawn and emotional

Am I going mad?

Hell no

Severe depression

That’s what the doc said

He numbed me

Took the easy way

Damn pills shook my mind

What about my identity?

I got it back

Binned them

Ha

My mind was just overheated

The conflict

Pain

Overload

Not madness, just a glitch

Thats understanding

Sometimes life sucks

Sometimes I cannot cope

Sometimes I am sad

Sometimes I am screaming inside

Creative, yes

And a fine line I sometimes tread

But I have this tea-shirt

That I sometimes wear….

Depressed or depression?

I cried walking home from school when I was 6, because it was so hard to put one foot after another. Brain disorder, serotonin deficiency. I will personally rip the head off and piss in the hole of the next person who tells me to "get over it" or "don't worry, be happy" Ignorant, smug, worthy of death arseholes! cheers, really, it can be dealt with by a combination of medication and therapy Jess

I have 4 favourite t-shirts

all hand penned, by an ex, with my favourite aphorisms "When freedom is outlawed only the outlaw is free" "In a dog eat dog world it is better not to be a dog"(with a picture of a lion) "I am forever unwrapping the eternal present" and finally, my life motto, stolen from the Japanese TV series "Monkey" "The nature of Jess is irrepresssssssiiiiible!" cheers, Jess
