The Wheels Are Always Turning
I believe that one day, people will see what is right.
Cause until they do the world like a tire in mud
will just keep turning without moving.
Like quick sand sucking your life out of sight.
The Wheels Are Turning
Like a day is a day
A moment is a moment
The wheels are always turning
Sometimes not knowing where you're going.
Every snowflake is different
Every drop of rain is not the same
We get up everyday not knowing what will change
But change is part of life and nothing stays the same.
I hear people say that he or she will never change
How can that be
when change happens in every single person
every single day

I have always loved poetry but sad to say I haven't really gotten into, individual poets. I truly believe that it is never to late to learn and appreciate others. That is one of the reasons I am here today.

Making a point
I feel that when you want to make a point
and you want to get it through so that
people will enjoy while learning what you have to offer.
That you will like the saying goes, you will kill two birds with one stone.
I hope that what I have to say can help someone in their travels.

I can't put it any better. You have a gift and evil tries to
take everything it can, putting up blocks and many empty
roads to hide the one road you need to go.
You like superman try to hurdle what you can.
The evil that is lurking is trying just to hurt you.
Finding the kryptonite, then they take your might
and leave you in the sand.

You sound like you are lost in the dark
Most poets use metaphors to write with. A metaphor is one thing that is used to describe something else. Like don't burn bridges cause you don't know when you will need to cross over them, meaning don't stab your friends in the back. My use of the world spinning is the people of the world running around like a chicken with their heads cut off. Wow, there are some really terrible poets on here give me a break. Themoonman really fits you cause that statement is not of this world.

interesting
was wondering of the whole tire spinning thing...
metaphors can be read in many ways...
I was looking at it like....it is....just a round and round
gov wont help..i coulda been a contenda...if my wife
hadnt taken everything....if vietnam hadnt affected my life
that kind of rotating getting not where kind of thing..
but you want to shift it to this chicken thing...
makes it diff...the
whole dont burn bridges
who was that roman dude who built the bridge across
the straight....
wooden pilings they found...i suspect he built a
pontoon bailey bridge system...
run out the abutements
as far on either side..
what if your like an immortal
and no amount of stabbing in back
affects u..
u sigh and just carry on watching
them hanging out with them...
be almost ghost like
drifting through locked doors
when they get mad
hiring hacker buddies to
glean all their data
I think people see what they
want...
why i got good friends

You are exactly right
Some people get uptight.
People say what they mean,
they mean what they say.
Doesn't mean that you have to take it that way.
It's not just what you say
It's how you say it
why you say it
Who you say it to.
That is what communication is all about.

Changing the world depends on understanding it
not hippy affirmations.
We need to acknowledge that right wing/conservative/social darwinist ideologies are ultimately destructive and will kill us all.
We have become a "dominant" species by social behaviour, supporting and helping each other. Not by being utter bastards trying to beat each other.
