My Quill

Submitted by Robert Tucker PhD on Sun, 2018-08-26 11:28

With pen in hand, I write
Of ghouls and goblins, knaves and knights.
Across the pages, the words seamlessly flow
Of things that I do and do not know,
As though by Merlin’s magic wand.
Which speaks to me of things from beyond,
That ears do not hear, and eyes do not see
As I plunge into the abyss, a deep black sea
And I speak in tongues of many lands
Scrawling my pearls of wisdom in the sands
That time has forgotten as I take my fill
And relish in the magic of my quill.
Yet to me like life, no less unreal
My adventurous journeys will never stand still
And all minds will marvel and sup their fill
As long as words flow from my quill.

How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?
