I only came to write

Good evening to all

Been forgetting to write my blog everyday.

I came to write
to seek, not fight

Tonite I feel blue
alot like the dew
on a rose petal
not my chipper self
no, not today
for the moon
has not given me my
strength to glide
my words, my thoughts
put on the wayside for
this nite
I came to write
to seek, not fight

I have those days I suppose
far and few for me
but for sure tonight 
my soul is tired,
my body is weak
needing rest to energize
this poetic mind once again
sadness of heart strikes us all
thank goodness
not often I feel like this
I sprint forward,
onward, ahead knowing this too shall pass. .
..LIFE..
so precious what we take for granted
someday may be taken from us
like a thief in the night

I go forward
evermore
deal with some bad days
mostly loving the good days
arrive upon thy door
once again I
rest the mind
rest the soul
my body weeps
it's need for sleep
