   Dreams of Dreams
           

      I had a dream, within my dream
          my dreams were both of you
      And there within my dream of dreams
          a feeling of deja vu

      Let me tell you, that was freaky
          let me tell you, it was odd
      To find myself, beside myself
          again with you, and your facade

      Oh my God...the roads we traveled
           the lows, but oh those highs
      Even in my dream of dreams
           visions of you, and I tremble inside

      You cast your spell upon me
           to you I'm forever bound
      My heart and soul cry out for you
           and I never make a sound

      Now, I think I know the reason
           for the dream within a dream
      For within my dreams you come to me
           and you're mine, or so it seems

      As long as I am dreaming
           I can hold you here inside
      If I dream a dream within my dream
           I can hold you 'til I die

      You have asked me to stop dreaming
           and to put my faith in you
      With all that flows between us
           it should be so easy to do

      But, I'm fearful of the outcome
           you forget I know the past
      You forget I know your wants and needs
           that I see behind the mask

      While it's true that I do love you
           and I need you through the night
      Though I know I'm in your heart
           I don't fill your appetite

      For within me, there's a need
           a desire to fulfill
      A need to be the one and only
           you're not ready, I can tell

      So, let's trip the light fantastic
           for tonight, you're mine alone
      Hold me, love me in your own way
           make me scream and make me moan

      You're the spark and I'm the kindling
           let it rip, watch us burn
      For I know, come light of day
           I'll be longing for your return.
