BRITAIN. NIGERIA BEWARE!!!
FELIX JOSEPH (2008)
BRITAIN: NIGERIA BEWARE!!! By, Felix Joseph Abuloma, Port [email protected], 08037825027. As the scavengers they are known to be, the British has never failed to show the world that greed and parochial interest, is their stock in trade. It becomes pertinent not to ignore the British government‘s angle to solving the or infuriating the crisis of the Niger delta. In the bid to further en trench their imperial thirst for the Nigerian blood, the is foxy government is beginning to woo, with overtures to a government which it has observed as a lame dock, which lacks a vibrant ideological branded foreign policy thrust. In the words of Gordon Brown, we sense that this vampire nation is on the prowl for a blood rain. Hear him “ we stand ready to give help to Nigerians ,to deal with the lawlessness that exit in the Niger delta, and to achieve the levels of productions that Nigeria is capable of.” .From the foregoing, it is very evident that the peaceful co-existence of the Nigerian state is never a source of concern to this British government, rather it only see the Nigerian state the goose that must lay the golden eggs to oil her empire of engines and service her tables with meals, nothing more nothing less, thereby undermining her crucial national questions that bothers on the corporate existence of the Nigerian state. In Brown’s comment at the G8 summit in Japan on the Niger delta, the British emphasis an d concern is mainly centered on the oil capacity production of Nigeria, and not engaging in the challenges that seek to negate the Nigerian oil production capacity through peace resolutions. The American even though their intentions may not be too sincere on the Niger delta crisis, have at least shown reason by pointing to the path of dialogue. From the British stand point on the furor in the Niger Delta region, grandstanding is the rule they want to play with, they are spoiling for a war. It is very unfortunate that history has never appeal to the Nigerian state on the negative roles of the British in her domestic matters. This former colonial master has never been a template for anything good to Nigeria. Hence, it has consistently seek and promote means to destabilize the true corporate existence of Nigeria, right from the its colonial misadventure and romance with Nigeria . The escalation of the Nigerian civil war had more to do with the British government. and it’s propaganda whistle blower, the British broadcasting corporation.(BBC).The cases of coup and counter coups ,flagrant violation to Nigerian laws by her multinational corporations, have openly enjoyed the blessing of the British government. The backwardness Nigeria suffers till date is her handiwork, this then call for a total break from this Nigerian freak. Anywhere they thread, their vested interest is never hidden. For instance cases abound to these negative testimony countries they have touched Zimbabwe, Argentina, Nigeria, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Sierra Leone and the others. Instability and conflict continues to trail them. Little wonder her global influence is fast diminishing, except for the parasite they are known to be. Today she rides on the high on the American republican, George .W. Bush to remain relevant in global politics. Nigeria should learn to never to appeal to this country for whatever help. Like the devil, she ties a string to every gift she offers you .The shylock in her is insatiable .Organizing crisis in the developed nations, is her last trick to remain relevant in world politics. We must never allow the Britsh to lead us into another civil war, if when it erupts, she will cunningly slip backstage to pull the divide and rule string she is very famous with. Britain has never hidden her disdain for the growing influence of the Nigerian state, in Africa and the global politics. Lest she seeks meek means to destroy NIGERIA. All and sundry should appeal to the gullible soul of this administration to pick holes in ,ore out rightly jettison whatever proposal for help Britain wants to offer Nigeria In solving the Niger Delta question. Once beaten Nigeria must learn to be twice shy. Beware this vampire wants your blood again. Does it not surprise Nigerian that in the BBC services only one section of the country represents Nigeria that flaunts her WAZOBIA identity? Nothing good is known to come out of this exploitative and plunderer of a nation, she should not meddle into our domestic crisis. Nigerian has the capacity to solve her problems, if we must as a people need foreign help; Britain is the least desired for such yeoman’s job. She needs to be told that the genocide it sponsored during the Nigerian civil war still remains fresh in our hearts. The credential of these administrations advisers need to be vigorously screened. Britain is almost like a leprous nation, no one is willing to touch her or do anything viable with her, and all this is due to her selfish antecedents. Why then would the Nigerian state seek solace in the hands of a leper, who is really advising Yar’Ardua? Britain does not have what it takes to help Nigeria move to a peaceful resolution of conflicts; her pedigree is swift for spoiling. If Nigeria wants a peaceful way to end the Niger-Delta crisis, never again should we trust the resolve of this nation to help us in any guise. The only time Ngeria would have really needed Britain influence, was during the Nigeria/Cameroon Bakassi case at the Hague. Britain rather preferred to chicken out. are our authorities not aware of this? Is the said Bakassi not part of the Niger delta region, it is planning to help Nigeria defend? Since their oil interest in Nigeria supersedes the welfare of people of Nigeria . France stood in for Cameroon, is it now that there is a domestic disobedience that she is will to help Nigeria kill hapless souls in the delta region to enhance our oil capability? Is rolling out the British war machine the solution to the regions agitation? But, perhaps we would not have lost the oil rich Bakassi Pennsinsula to Cameroon if she has shown such grave concern. It still baffles me to know suddenly, that because of their greed and selfish design ,she is willing to go to war against a people she has helped impoverish. She would have been better applauded if this energy was directed at the France/Cameroon over Bakassi. Britain should cover her face in shame, because Nigerians are aware of her devilish antics to plunge us into a war against our self again. Could her stand be in retaliation for the expulsion of SHELL from the OGONI land in the Niger Delta?. What ever it is we will never give Britain the benefit of inflicting us pain again. We are also unaware of the several damages the Niger-Delta is suffering today is courtesy of shell, a company that has operated with much impunity as against the desired wishes of the people in the region. Frankly, the Nigerian government gave them the power to do as it pleased. Nigeria should begin to evolve and seek constructive, developmental oriented ways to solving the the regions myriad of problems, and not by hiring the services of a mercenary nation of occupation to enjoy the benefit of unleashing the mayhem ,indepence did not allow them. Could this be second attempt at forcefully re-collonising Nigeria ,with the blessing of Yar’ardua/Jonathan and the PDP? NIGERIA beware of BRITAIN. ,
