Dinner of Love (poem)
The panel discussion they had gone too was rather boring if not too long.
She had mentioned that this Grand old hotel had a lobby with an excellent setting. He kept thinking. Should I ask her out for a light dinner???
She’ll probably decline saying she has to go home early. What should I do??? He somehow found the courage and asked her:
"Do you think they offer dinner at the lobby???" She answered immediately, "Yes they do". Now came the most difficult part: Should he ask her to join him??? Many moments passed, it seemed like the whole of eternity. The minutes passed, the clock ticked. He didn’t have the courage… He was afraid of rejection… But something happened, he managed to say the words… He asked her… She said yes, immediately, no hesitation…

He was a very happy man…
As always,
they looked into each others very beautiful eyes.
Constantly.
They smiled. Constantly.
They discovered new beautiful things about each other.
They admired each other, they trusted each other,
they cared very much for each other.
Their friendship was very rare indeed on this earth.
Like a beautiful Alpine flower, like a diamond,
like a pearl, like pure gold.
