I'm really irritated with my friends bashing my parents. They act like my dad has to have everything his way and that he's so unreasonable but they forget that he basically lets me do what I want with very few exceptions. Just because my parents aren't as easy going as theirs, doesn't mean that mine are tyrants. My dad my have some crazy rules but most of the time, he listens to me when I have a good argument or he gives in when I beg him to do something he doesn't want me to. I feel like he's been fair with me and the stuff I do have to do (call him frequently, make power points, pay for myself, argue with him for a few days) that doesn't really effect them so I don't know why they care. I understand that they think they're on my side, but I find it offensive and childish. I love my friends so much but sometimes they make me mad... :(
