Stinging Solitude Stretches

When stinging solitude stretches its arms
about you
then think of me only
how my warmth spreads about the moon
you all call it
Honey Moon

how true
as my wings spread far and wide
across the universal stride
then you can't your solitude describe
may you be the best of scribe
simply
smile
solitude shall vanish
as does the eclipse

come out and see me standing
in the bitterly chill wind
like a statue
unlike you

'Coz I'm the only
Mountain EVEREST
ALPS
EIFFEL TOWER
standing solitary

in the vastness you call
desperate
solitude in the expansive
Sahara Desert

I used to surround myself with all manor of dim witted addicts and drunks who would validate the worst parts of me. Now I’m mostly a ghost.

I like this one,

I like this poem of yours. it reminds me of a time in my life, around nineteen, when I took a vow of silence. I lived in solitude, I let no friend in and I didn't go out. I was very ill. my mother brought me groceries. which was nice of her (being who she was)

you have a fine poem. I am curious to know which are your favorite lines?

one feel as though he is standing around looking at you from a great distance. They say that the pyramids can be seen from twelve to fifteen miles away. The Eiffel Tower from fifty miles, and Mt. Everest from a hundred and twenty miles. I think that lovedly will be seen from a hundred years away. ~ Geez.

Gee I see your smiles since thousands of not miles but centuries
hope you within my memory will for millennia stay

Hello, Lovedly,
My favorite lines refer to the moon - Honey Moon. For me, when looking at the moon I can easily separate myself from everything around and find myself in complete solitude. Lovely poetry!
Lav
