Rhyme Patterns (2) "Bitter rand Sweet" Scribbler

BITTER AND SWEET (rhyme patterns SS)

O the wonders of the spring
all the song birds perched to sing
a wasp just stung me on the ass
I've got to cut the freakin' grass

With flowers blooming everywhere
I've more than enough love to share
pollen swells my nose and eyes
new fire ant mounds which I despise

Ladies' fashions become spare
belly buttons and midriffs bare
along with men's knobby knees
plumbers' butts shine in the breeze

I don't have a pleasant voice
so when I attempt to croon
the result is far,far from a tune
but rather a croaking type noise. (first stanza done by Stan)

My notes aren't always balanced
they're either sharp or flat,
but I don't give a jot for that
as I'm by mood influenced.

Some while ago I wrote a song,
I called it 'Song for Jenny'
but my doubts grow as oft plenty
that to her my voice won't ding dong.

RE-WRITE

Slam your heavy woes
for nothing merits pain
after promising day's gain
a pristine twilight shows

Clean the smell of hatred
with love we always grow
and profit in tomorrow
for time should not be wasted

Now, hurry up! come on dear
and put your hand in mine
our ways with gold will shine
with our intentions clear

ORIGINAL
I didn't sleep again today
but that is my usual way
i might write giddily and sway
it doesn't mean I've gone away pattern :aaaa

So I'll get up and walk around
for no purpose i can see
my general premise isn't sound
but I'll be the best that I can be pattern : abab

so wash and eat
is a good start
and a resounding fart
represents a stunning feat pattern : abba

RHYME PATTERN 1 WORKSHOP-Les Fleurs Parlent

Lesl Fleurs Parlent
_______________
"look at me" said Magnolia tree
"my flowers big as plates!
the regal rose looked down her nose
said "probably what you ate."
.
The marigolds a rowdy crowd interjected thus
"pretty is as pretty does"
"oh pretty rose you'll rue your words"
"for you'll get snipped, not us."
.
the peonies hung heads so low
way down, as though confused
they should have been supported more

Geezer's Poem (rhyme patterns 1)

Submitted by Geezer

Banging on the gong
Gets her heart to thumping
Before it is too long
Her body starts to jumping

He bangs away all night
She doesn’t mind a bit
Jill thinks that it’s alright
She hopes he doesn’t quit

Jack is really great
He keeps on like a bunny
His timing is first rate
He don’t do nothing funny

He just keeps on the beat
Never falters once
She's potatoes, he’s the meat
Jack’s no bumbling dunce

Now (Rhyming Patterns workshop) Attn: of Ron

A rhyming place for all to see
Especially made for you and me
To see if we can write in rhyme
I hope my entry is in time

This is a workshop you all know
Run by Stan the so and so
But give your best so we can see
What's rhyme to do with poetry

Just a thought, Yours Ian.T

Bye Bye Woes (Rhyme Pattern #1 SS)

Slam your heavy pains, woes
for nothing merits pain
A pristine twilight shows
a promisin' day to gain.

Clean the smell of hatred
with love we better grow
time should never be wasted
profit in the morrow.

Now, hurry! come on dear
and put your hand in mine
when good intentions clear
our ways with gold will shine.

As happiness lingers
think not of the poor past
Don't moan, cross the fingers
sorrows can never last.
