the water clear
escapes the touch

and falls

I can hear you picking
up the keys
the bass chords
the pedal shifts

Love is a mystery
fraught with the ruin of
leaving
Just when the echo of
Hello has opened
the frame
of possible
hope

a piano lives
a soul walks
the hallway

these ghosts of us

gusts reach walls
we built
the stones of
work like bones
sleeping

this warmth gathered
curved against it

and I'm leaving
leaving for a dream
I'm yet to wake in

the notes tremble
with tears

this silence climbing
now

A tortuous path, or a drifting apart it is our choice , that we have built a
r e v e t m e n t, to hold back the future seems inadequate, as we know the pressure of nature is unstoppable no matter what we build..

history remembers to tell us that we need the solid wall
against the future
cyclic things

the levies were not strong enough
people forgot about the Tsunamis except in oral tradition
story telling and songs that the people who were more
primitive heeded..they listened to the dogs and animals
and earthquake and just went to high ground
The same ones shot arrows at the helicopters who came
by to see if they were allright....

"We are fine now F**** Off"
I liked those people

sometimes we do have to put a strong retainment against
our own selves from lowering the drawbridge down to
someone returned to ones life
a dream person come walking in the dream again and
again when sleep comes

sometimes there is a reason for intuition
deadbolts and good junkyard dogs

Yes, the creatures of the Earth still have the abilities to be aware of things we seem to have put to one side.
We flaunt nature through greed, real estate built on the coast where as the Earth becomes warmer the tide will become higher.
A stupid nation building Nuclear power stations looking out to sea, knowing full well that the sea bed is unstable and likely to inundate the land they have built on. Had they built them on the other side of their sacred Island they would have been safe.
A building that reaches the clouds in the middle East ??? the world is mad.
Years ago I saw a programme that experimented with Rats that in a structure more than three stories tall as a living place they started becoming unstable and mad, Did we learn???
We need more than deadbolts to protect us from our own doings, Yours with many thoughts, Ian.T
