Patients, are Virtual

Have you ever "spied" a rainbow
after storm clouds have had their way?
...feeling no "wonder", or enjoyment
because, all the colors had turned to grey;

or maybe, tried to eat fresh strawberries
that you've favored, all along,
to find each morsel tastes like, nothing
then, you know that something's....wrong!

You might "fancy" hearing some music
perhaps, your favorite...for a "treat";
then, find yourself, dissappointed
because, the tune is not as, "sweet".

I don't necessarily want company
and, don't care to be alone,
sometimes, even friends can irritate
as well as, folks you've never known.

You might even turn to traveling
to gain another point of view,
only to find yourself "uneasy"
for having to take yourself along, too!

Feeling hateful indignation
because, you can't say what's...amiss;
you can't stand yourself, OR others
it doesn't get much worse than this!

I checked out books on, psychology,
self-hypnosis, and all the rest;
I was making great strides in understanding myself
then, I failed an online, Rorschach Test!

My symptoms are non-conclusive
but, the advice from each book off the shelf,
said, to be loving...and to give myself "plenty of room"
and, to quit sitting...."beside myself"!

Good stuff here, once I'd got my head round it. Good flow and very original.Well done you!
take care,
Tim

...guess that's, "proof positive".....that one cannot control their "reader". I meant not, to cause any effort. What was what impeded your being able to "wrap" your head around it?
sincerely,

Did you mean, After storm clouds have had their way? Second line verse one. Great poem, Woody Allen would love this. Regards Roscoe...

Roscoe Llane,

Religion will rip your faith off, and return
for the mask of disbelief that's left.

and mostly the last line...it reminds me when a mother asks the teacher to change where her child sets in class to eliminate the bad influence of another student

I just have one curious question...do you have personal rules of punctuation or do you just use them randomly?

enjoyable one...thank you Doc
