THREE TO YOU ALL DEAR FRIENDS
"FRIENDHSHIP'S HAPPY BONDAGE"
Margaret Ann Waddicor. 27th November 2010.
The chime of friendship,
golden,
like jewels and precious gems,
are carefully protected,
by years of patient understanding,
worth the mint of bondage,
its ropes the vines of life,
that wind around the heart,
to hold it tight,
and never sever at the joints,
through days of joy and days of woe,
a tie that calms the storm,
an inspiration when the skies are blue,
a solace for the lonely place,
that others find so gaunt,
a spice that grabs the impulses,
enhances every thought,
just as friendship ought.

"LIFE'S FRIENDSHIP"
Margaret Ann Waddicor September 4th 2010.
No stress, I have my friends that bless
each day they give their hearts,
each day my senses tolerate life's blows;
for lying there deep down within,
is solace, comfort for my pain, my doubt,
I gain some power, strength,
to combat ills that dissipate my essences,
weaken my flesh, that if left to languish
causes great distress and worry,
forced to grasp at straws that float in air.
Ah yes, the friends they stand around one's 'soul,'
they're there so rock-like anchored to my heart,
no, not alone in battles strong and dire,
but boosted up as if by unseen hands,
and given fortitude, determination, love,
that lifts the mind to other things above the dark,
gives light and joy to aim for with the lark.

"PEACEFUL"
Margaret Ann Waddicor December 2010.
And when I woke
and saw the gown of nature's white,
so white, so white and beautiful,
I thought of all my friends
and sent them floating snowflakes as a gift of love
to them, including you, including you,
and with their dance
the perfumes of the lingering log fire's smoke
that, stilled by cold,
is sailing there to you
where you can sense the joy and magic
of winter's cold embrace,
and know that down beneath
is warmth of friendship
resting for a while,
soon to break out again
in flower.
My love to my new friends,
wherever they may be
this Sunday morning in the new snow
that has laid its so white blanket over all
that's visible, and shines,
Oh what does this sphere look like from outer space,
in the sapphire atmosphere of the globe
spinning in its aura of love,
so blue,
unique in our universe;
so, so beautiful we are,
all that constitutes this earth,
this era,
this wondrous magical existence.
Amen.
All is calm,
all is peaceful
and I hope to remain your friend.
Love through the veils of time and space
to all of you this Christmas,
and in the coming year of 2011.
