Who can blame you
for falling for the darkness?
Who can blame you
for craving the silence?

From retiring into the lonely recesses
like a snail into its shell,
When the world is a volcano,
And the bones of buried people
is the skeleton of your memories?

Who can blame you
when all your footings fall amiss
And you land in the snares
and traps of the predator?
When love has a chandelier
who outbids what you can offer?

Who can blame a forlorn
Retreating from the battle of ambition?

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?
