WEAPON OF REBELLION

I grip my weapon in my hand
I am a true freedom fighter
I've had all that I can stand
any future must be brighter

Others feel the same as I
we come together, show our strength
beneath a cool November sky
for change we'll go to any length

In squads we approach the front line
where war will be won, maybe lost
and here our weapons' strengths combine
we brandish them despite the cost

Now my weapon comes to bear
with savage stiokes of mighty pen
I mark my ballot "There! and There!"
and hope my candidate will win

* All that is required for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing..............VOTE

you say so boldly too
hark some one will aim at you ,,,
play safe till change arrives,
let the winner survive
then play your cards all over again
and say

wise men abstain
to help those who they fear
THEY may not reign AGAIN!
BUT OBY WILL come !

I think real Americans saw the lunacy of the Tea Party and Fundamentalist Erroneous Christians. The GOP didn't lose, the lunatics, including our revered Rett, lost.

The GOP, with sound economic policy would have won this election against God. The lunatics failed you.

What failed us is a media which was bent on pertraying a moderate Republican as a right wing fanatic and at the same time protrayed a left wing socialist as a moderate.
You know, the beauty of America is that we don't take to the streets and kill people when elections don't go our way. Even in an election this close where the difference between the winner and loser was only a bit over 2 million votes.
The failure of America is that we have let the political process and dialog be taken over by the extremists on both sides. I know both Dems and Repubs. None of the ones I know believe in the extreme positions which are espoused by the extremists who have hijacked their parties,
Hopefully the politicians on both sides will now be willing to compromise enough to do what must be done to get our economy back on track. For it is our economic might which has allowed America to become the greatest force for good in history, not our armies and navies

Oh, well there's always the mid term elections. Perhaps we can return the Senate to sanity then.............stan
