The wind in March does not
dive into melancholy with
February's prisoners chained
to a grey sky
it does not roar with gaping mouth
nor bleeds into rust and decay
choiceless
in my love for you
I am surrendered
I howl
I am uplifted
I rise
with this peculiarity of you.

Worlds appear and disappear
in our sexual embrace.
We linger here, fully realized.

Once again I am taken with your wordsmithing skills. Your imagery takes my breath away. I love this piece. My favorite lines are:

The wind in March does not
dive into melancholy with
February's prisoners chained
to a grey sky
it does not roar with gaping mouth
nor bleeds into rust and decay
choiceless

spectacular!

Thank you Cat. Hope you and yours are well. Spring is just about sprung, 61 degrees a couple of days ago,
today it's bitter cold. You'd think winter was reclaiming its time.

Delicious Ana, what a divine pleasure to read you again! Always so inspiring & so enriching.... You really do have to be one of my favourite all time writers anywhere.

Always, you move me to a higher place of exploration, it is such a mark of a good writer, don't you think?

I am sure I read some time ago that you publish your work, I would be very pleased to purchase any publication from you.

So lovely to be back & find you here still

In humble respect & apreciation.

My dear friend always told me "Water the seeds of joy first"

What to say here when the poem so stunningly right,
so what can one say other than beautiful.

Completely enjoyable Anna.
