Visions within a dream

I had a vision. In it stood an ovally shaped cave somewhere in the centre of fantasies, away from the peeping sky. We dwelt in the the caverns of our deeds without dress or the burden of knowledge.

You dorsiflexed your legs to the rhythm of the ancient flutes and I was as Onyeneku; the head drummer that commands the muscles of the spirits sprawling in antelope's fitness. Truly all that lived were us in this cave somewhere amid the joys of companionship, away from the turbulent waves of intrusion.

Obianuju, daughter of the moon! My Negress that embodies the spirits of the gypsy horde of the enchantress. I summon you to spend lifetimes with me for with you, every dance of the hour glass is a lifetime of bliss. Come be the firmament of my universe, come make my visions true.

I saw the world peer within our cave and snare. Ignoble ignoramuses! What do they know about the dark mystery of Obianuju? What do they know of the oscillatory heave of her breast or the fluttery sway Of her hips. Her glittering eyes are as the islands of black blood imprisoned by crystals of icy purity. Her poist bore the cause of the maidens of the bights of Fanti, the might of Taitu Betul; the Thiopic lioness. Her touch was Noliwe's soothing bam on Chaka's strained muscles. With a soul as evergreen as the Sapodilla, it is of no wonder that my feet are sprung by the greased stings of her trap.

No Brother! I do not ask to be set free... I'd rather not leave this cave and face the cruelty of artistes staged upon the amphitheatre of deception. I must dwell in the harem of obianuju my negress, in the visions of my dreams and sing of her dark beauty that surpasses the years for eons of minds.

Wow, really good. Seems to be a performance
piece to be enunciated with flare.

One word did throw me:
// I saw the world peer within our cave and
snare. Ignoble ignoramuses//

I thought either the word "snare" to be wrong
and maybe "sneer" was what you were going
for, or you meant something I didn't understand,
which is highly likely.

Either way, much enjoyed the chance to read
your poem, thanks for sharing.
