Uncontaminated

I think about you often
But once you start dry coughing
things will quickly escalate
Let's take two weeks and isolate

When will we kiss you ask
You look so beautiful
In that medical grade mask

I could be your friend
At least until
This pandemic
comes to an end

We could do the boom boom
Over the phone or on zoom
In this relationship I'm invested
Just don't want to get physical
Until we both get tested

a smile to my face this morning. One little crit. I have read and re-read this a couple of times; and every time, I wanted to say
zoom zoom or something like: in a zoom room. Maybe just me, but... Anyway, really like this one! ~ Geez.
.

It seems that the days and hours that people
are available for chatroom are staggered and
not a good match for most everyone. How about
if everyone just shows up at the door, whenever
they have a few free minutes?

I agree that this is one of your best, Paul. We all have Covid on our minds. I hope your poem is not true, that nobody you love has been affected.
Enjoyed and take care of yourself and family.
